Pumpkin spice is vastly overrated, in my opinion. I don't get the hype, and I think that is basically it in a nutshell. There are a lot of clever marketing campaigns around pumpkin spice that make people feel like they are not "in" if they don't crave warm pumpkin spice drinks during the Winter months.
