Pina Colada Cocktail Recipes
Did you know the Spanish term Piña Colada means 'strained pineapple?' History says the cocktail was created in Puerto Rico, where it is the official national drink.
Some people say a pirate named Roberto Cofresi concocted the recipe for his crew in the early 19th century. Others say Ramon 'Monchito' Marrero, a bartender, created the drink in 1954. We don't really care who created the drink, do we? Let's look at the classic Pina Colada first.
